What do you get when a nightclub impresario and a former NFL player put their heads together? Anatomy at 1220, South Beach's wellness wonderland of opulence. Jetset Pilates – Rachel Scherdin

Let's get one thing straight here: Jetset is not your average Pilates studio. It places about as much emphasis on strength training, core training and conditioning as it does traditional Pilates principals. Plus, it's the only fitness company in Miami to use the Lagree Fitness Megaformer, a machine with so many different uses you'll probably never do the same class twice, especially if you're taking Rachel Scherdin's class, where burpees are mixed in with sliding lunges to give you a pure full body experience. Check out a class at one of its three locations– Wynwood, Coral Gables, and South Beach.

Morphe Fitness Studio & Wellness Spa – Roberto Santamarina

Morphe Life is a one stop shop for all your fitness and wellness needs. There's TRX training, kickboxing, rock climbing, and gravity resistance training, not to mention acupuncture, massage therapy, facials, and even custom meal plans. Equinox – Christa DiPaolo

Equinox is your ultimate full-service gym with a luxury feel to it. With locations at Aventura Mall, Village of Merrick Park, in Brickell, and on Washington Avenue, its the place you come when you want to lift ion your own or pick up virtually any group class you can, from Pilates to Christa DiPaolo's much acclaimed Box180 class. There are also spa services, so you can get your mind, body, and skin in check.

SobeKick – Christa DiPaola

IronFlower Fitness – Christa DiPaolo

And back to those punching bags– boxing babe Christa DiPaolo leads her much acclaimed Box180 class a few times a week here. This former dancer doesn't play when she says, "No water breaks."

LegacyFit – Manning Sumner

Manning Sumner's bootcamp style classes have become so popular, the gym owner and NFL trainer needed to dedicate an entire half of his massive Wynwood fitness warehouse to them. You'll partner up and jump through different stations, from cardio machines to weights, and TRX training to laps around the block. This Wynwood location is the one that started it all, as he's set to expand outside of Florida very, very soon.

Pulse163 – Ciara Tunstall

Pulse163 opened a little over a year ago, and already its grown a cult following with Aventura and North Miami's fit set, especially if we're talking about dancing pro Ciara Tunstall's highly technical and highly positive classes. Everything here revolves around a barre, so don't be surprised if you're asked to tighten those buns with a few quick relevés after a downward dog, or if you're forced to throw in a few three pound weights during a leg lifting sequence.

David Barton Gym – Raul Hernandez

Walk into Flywheel's stadium-seating cycling class, walk out with up to 1,000 calories burnt. This 45-minute class packs in light weights and endless peddling to playlists that will keep you from slowing down. On the off chance you're not into being locked into a bike, the barre classes here are tough enough to tone, especially if they're lead by Hottest Trainer contestant Ashli Katz, who's known to put together some pretty legit old school hip-hop playlists to go with those leg lifts.

Barry's Bootcamp – Derek Degrazio

Barry's Bootcamp is known for two things: insanely hot trainers, and insanely hard classes. When you're not hitting maximum speed on a treadmill you're hitting the weights hardcore, and if Hottest Trainer contestant Derek Degrazio is leading, then you'd better believe that water breaks are not on the agenda. For now, Barry's only has a location in South Beach open, however Midtown should be opening very soon, and another Aventura gym is slated to open early 2017.
