Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The right price, a no-chip finish and attention to detail are essential, but so is a serious selection of polish. Why even consider somewhere that doesn't have the latest OPI and Essie collections on display? If you're looking to switch up your weekly primping routine, look no further than these ten cheap nail salons that have seriously nailed it.

You know the drill. Our map is arranged from north to south, so be careful not to think we've scattered them from best to better. Oh, and no manicure and pedicure on our list runs over $40. Click through to check out our map, and let us know what your favorites are in the comments below or via email.

The $40 express mani/pedi is the most economical decision, but you can upgrade from there. There's also an added perk for all you eco-consious girls: Zoya all natural polish! [Photo]
