Shop Miami Month: All the Deals and Events You Need to Know

March madness has just begun, and we're not talking about sports. Shop Miami Month kicks off today, bringing us a slate of fashion events, special discounts, and more reasons to shop Miami's much buzzed about malls and boutiques. To be honest, the deals aren't that groundbreaking, however we've broken down a few of the bigger events and promotions to watch out for this month.

Dadeland Mall

Dadeland Mall, the OG of Miami's malls, has a few things up its sleeve for Shop Miami Month. Throughout the month there will be complimentary personal styling sessions, daily personality fragrance matching at Macy's, and free champagne at Montblanc every other Thursday. We can't say there are any crazy discounts, however you can pick up a complimentary Savings Passport at guest services which nets you discounts all over the mall.

Don't miss the Dadeland Mall Festival of the Arts on March 12th and 13th, an outdoor event featuring hundreds of local and international artists from 13 different genres. The event features live entertainment and food tasting and is free and open to the public. Otherwise, Donald J. Pliner will be having wine tastings in store on March 10th, where you'll receive $100 off your purchase on shoes and handbags.

The Falls

The Falls has one good deal. Shoppers who spend $350 or more at The Falls will receive a $25 gift card for BCBGMAXAZRIA, Columbia PFG, HSIProfessional Hairbar, PacSun, or Los Ranchos. Redeem your gift at guest services. The aforementioned brands also have deals.

Miami International Mall

Miami International Mall's best deal caters to travelers. Get 15 percent off your stay at The Provident Doral at The Blue through March 31st plus discounts on other perks like spa services, restaurant dining, and free valet at the mall. The newly renovated InterContinental Doral is also offering a discounted stay starting at $219, which includes food discounts and a complimentary Style Passport for the mall. For everyone else, spending $350 or more gets you a $25 gift at the mall, which includes Simon and retailer gift cards. Gifts can be redeemed at guest services. Cubavera and Perry Ellis are offering 10 percent savings on all purchases throughout March.

Aventura Mall

The soon-to-be home of Gucci and Givenchy is going all out for Shop Miami Month. The overall savings deal is a little weak: spending $300 or more gets you a $15 gift certificate to use anywhere at mall, however its event lineup is robust. On March 9th, Aventura Mall is hosting an evening of designer fashion, cocktails, and light bites called Styled Mixer for a Cause at The Grill on the Alley from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Tickets are $25 and proceeds go to the Chapman Partnership.

Other fun in-store events include a meet-and-greet and fashion show with Kimora Lee Simmons at Bloomingdale's on March 10th, a Sephora Smashbox photo event on March 12th where you can get your makeup done and photos taken by celebrity photographer Steven Khan, and a vinotherapie spa party at Caudalie on March 18th which features complimentary mini treatments and wine form its family vineyards in France. Oh, and something for your whole adult family: learn how to make tropical cocktails at a mixology class at Bloomingdale's on March 12th.

Bayside Marketplace

Alright, so you're probably not heading to Bayside to score some deals, but you can head there for a nice live music sesh. Throughout the month of March, Miami's bay view mall has live music at various times throughout the day, so you can shop as the sun sets behind you.
