They don't call Miami the land of beautiful people for nothing and to us, the right shoe, accessory, and handbag combo is even more notable than a pretty face. Our fashion scene goes beyond bloggers and notable celebs. We have stylish "It" girls wherever you look, and we're pulling out a few of our faves below.
From store owners to stylists, and designers to fashion writers, take a scroll through some of our favorite local Instagram style stars, and don't be afraid to double tap your favorite looks.
Danie Gomez-Ortigoza
Vibe: Floridian Frida
Why We Love Her: Danie Gomez-Ortigoza is Glamour's Mexico & Latin America correspondent, so assume she knows who the next big South American designer to hit the states will be. We can't get enough of her signature ribbon-wrapped hair crown, which makes every look she wears look regal and exotic.
Sarah Akiba
Vibe: Monica Rose in Miami
Why We Love Her: Known best for catapulting Snapchat celeb YesJulz's style game to a whole new level, Sarah Akiba is taking Miami by storm. Her feed is filled mostly with her styling projects, however every photo brings an unapologetic sexiness that we all just want to imitate.
Lesley Griffith
Vibe: OMG SHOES.
Why We Love Her: The owner of Coconut Grove's luxe shoe boutique, The Griffith, has an outfit game that's as on point as her shoe collection. She doesn't post frequently, but her little nuggets of trendy style are enough to keep us tapping twice.
Andria Mitsakos
Vibe: Jetset Nomad
Why We Love Her: The owner of Wanderlista will have you on a constant Santorini daydream. Whether in denim cutoffs or a vintage floral short set, the vacation vibes are strong here, and so is the style.
Alexis Entner
Vibe: Unapologetically SLAYING.
Why We Love Her: Alexis Entner knows how to take a risk and OWN it. This local stylist and former Kore buyer makes anything work: Rihanna-like faux fur coats, vintage Picasso button-downs, even her dad's clothing. She's currently working on a platform where she can sell goods, which includes fur heels she reconstructed jackets she works on herself. Follow her when you want to add a bit of IDGAF attitude to your wardrobe.
Irma Martínez
Vibe: Playfully Posh
Why We Love Her: Irma Martínez is like the godmother of all Latin American stylists. She was named one of the 25 most powerful women by People en Español and dresses the who's who of Hispanic celebs, from Sofía Vergara to Shakira, and from Ricky Martin to Pitbull. She's always up to something fun in the fashion and entertainment industry, whether she's hanging out with Eva Chen or dressing Pitbull's dance troop.
Adriana Castro
Vibe: Ever the Lady
Why We Love Her: Besides designing her own eponymous line of luxury handbags, beloved by "It" girls and celebs everywhere (ahem, Kendall Jenner), Adriana Castro runs her own editorial site, El Diario de la Moda. A mix of fashion news and her own personal roamings, her Instagram is a full fashion overdose and Castro is always dressed for the occasion.
Natalie Rosenfeld
Vibe: Tastefully Trendy
Why We Love Her: A new stylist in Miami's fashion scene, Natalie Rosenfeld is a Miami native who knows how to take a trend and class it up. She produces lookbooks for some of Miami's top boutiques and has mastered the art of mixing high and low. Looks that she's styled on other models are posted daily on her 'Gram, however Natalie herself has a great sense of personal style. Fingers crossed she makes a cameo soon.
Aja Butler-Burns
Vibe: Mystical Pinup Babe
Why We Love Her: The jewelry designer behind ABA Jewels, Aja Butler-Burns has a style that's all her own. She mixes vintage threads with thrift store finds to create looks that teeter between hippie noir and 50s pinup babe, always adorned with her signature stone-encrusted chokers, pearl-trimmed ear cuffs, and more.
Rachael Russell
Vibe: Tropical City Slicker
Why We Love Her: Rachael Russell lives the Miami life you wish you lived. When she's not traveling to exotic places around the world on styling assignments, she's running Style Saves, a charity she founded to help provide clothing and school supplies to underserved kids. She injects a feminine eclecticism into all of her looks, so don't even think about questioning her accessory game. It's always on point.
Sarah Humphries
Vibe: Downtown Tropi-Cool
Why We Love Her: Sarah Humphries is a fashion triple threat. She's a writer for Style Blazer, the founder of her own soon-to-launch decor site, Rare Atlantic, and a publicist at Style Rac, a local agency with a fashionable clientele. As a recent Miami transplant she injects a sort of laidback, natural chicness into her looks. Follow her to see Miami's softer side, one injected with a sort of Lower East Side, laissez fair vibe.
