Aventura Mall is all about the Gs lately… Givenchy and Gucci, that is. The mall just announced that both the Italian and French brands will be opening up stores, however Aventura shoppers are going to have to wait just a little bit for their openings later this year.
Givenchy currently has a standalone store in the Design District and is slated to open this summer. We're going to go on a whim and say you won't be able to find Riccardo Tisci's Nike dunk collab there. As for Gucci's Aventura Mall store, its third in Miami, it should be opening this fall. Fingers crossed its creative director will be making appearances with his Oscar date, Jared Leto. Both stores will be opening in the Nordstrom Court.
"The additions of Givenchy and Gucci will enhance the shopping experience for our local and international visitors and further establish Aventura Mall as one of the country's top fashion destinations," said Jackie Soffer, Co-Chairman and CEO of Turnberry Associates, owner and manager of Aventura Mall in a statement.
They both join a number of luxury stores that have opened in the mall over the past two years, which includes Fendi, St. John, Bally, and Tiffany & Co., to name a few.
