March is without a doubt the busiest month in Miami, and the first week of the year is proving to be a busy one! From a 20s themed whiskey bash to a party celebrating Ol' Blue Eyes, we've rounded up this week's best events so you don't have to.
Tuesday, March 1st
CORAL WAY– Dust off that flapper dress you bought in 2014 and experience the 1920s at Whiskey Social: Food, Cocktails and Music of the Roaring 20s, presented by Miami Whiskey Mash. There will be a four-course meal and each course will be paired with a classic whisky cocktail. The event is this Tuesday at 7:30pm. FORT LAUDERDALE– If you haven't tried a barre workout yet, you're missing out! Pure Barre is holding a class in the courtyard of Mellow Mushroom at 7:30pm, presumably for all the girls who don't feel like watching the March Madness games with their boyfriends. Gain back all the calories you lost during the workout by staying afterwards for pizza, drinks, and appetizer specials. DOWNTOWN MIAMI– Admit it, we all have an eternal crush on Frank Sinatra. Come celebrate the grand opening of, Sinatra: An American Icon, an exhibit celebrating the famous crooner at HistoryMiami, this Thursday at 7pm. DOWNTOWN MIAMI– For those who say there are no cool, creative jobs in Miami, definitely check out The Job Flea, an innovative job fair presented by the Arts + Entertainment District, The New Tropic, and the Talent Development Network. Not your typical job fair, this event will feature some of the most upcoming brands hiring in the Miami area, such as Macias Creative, Refresh Miami and Uber. Friday, March 4th
WYNWOOD– Treat yourself to a night of relaxation at The Wynwood Yard with a hand-crafted cocktail and live trumpet and guitar jazz sounds by the Jahzel Dotel Trio for Nutritious Nights. A healthy three course dinner curated by one of Miami's most well-known nutritionists, Susan Duprey, follows. WYNWOOD– Part art show, part Wynwood nightlife experience, the Young Artist Initiative brings incredible lineup of musicians, live performances, installations, exhibits, and more to Cafeina Wynwood. DOWNTOWN MIAMI- The Perez Museum's Art of the Party is this weekend and everyone from Miami's art world will be there. Whether you're looking to network or just want to experience amazing art, this gala, which kicks off at 7pm, is a great way to relive the glitz and glamour of Art Basel. DADELAND- Don't you love that feeling when you're wearing something vintage and people keep asking where you got it, and you have nothing to say but, "Oh, its one-of-a-kind?" You can create more of those moments by attending the Style Market Fashion and Craft Bazaar, which features fashion, art, and more from local designers.
