MIAMI BEACH– Get over hump day with good food, music, and beach vibes. The Miami Beach Food Truck and Music Festival presents an awesome lineup of food trucks, including Ms Cheezious, Arepa Box, and Latin Burger. Along with a great edible selection, enjoy free entertainment and music on the sandy beaches of Miami. The event kicks off at 5pm and ends at 10pm. North Shore Bandshell, 7272 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL.

DESIGN DISTRICT– Grab your yoga mats! The first YogArt Rocks of the year kicks off this week in the Design District's beautiful Palm Court. Starting at 6pm, plank and downward dog with the sunset as your background and live music to give you the ultimate yoga experience. The class will last for approximately one hour and will end with a reception of healthy snacks and refreshments. Tickets are $35 here. Miami Design District/Palm Court, 140 NE 39th St., Miami, FL.

Thursday, January 28th

WYNWOOD– We're still mourning the loss of David Bowie, and Gramps is doing so the only way they know how: with karaoke. Let's Sang is hosting its monthly karaoke party at Gramps this Thursday night from 8pm to 12am with a David Bowie Tribute in honor of the great late singer. Whether you choose to sing acapella or along with the track, make sure to rock your Bowie attire. Gramps, 176 NW 24th St., Miami, FL.

DOWNTOWN– What's better than drinking? Drinking for a cause, duh. Head over to Brother Jimmy's BBQ for a We Are Miami Happy Hour Fundraiser event. From 6pm to 9pm enjoy food, drinks, and specials galore. Tickets are $25, but $20 if you buy them online here. With this golden pass, you'll be able to score one free drink, happy hour specials as low as $3, and have access to the buffet for THREE hours. The best part? All proceeds will go to benefit Read 2 Succeed, Inc. After you've done some good to your body and the community, stay put for a karaoke after-party. Your TGIT won't include Scandal, but you just might witness one if you stay late. Brother Jimmy's BBQ, 900 S Miami Ave., Miami, FL.

Friday, January 29th

MIAMI BEACH– Want to see the next big thing? Catch the Young Artist Initiative at SLS Hotel South Beach. There will be live art, musicians, installations, exhibits and more from 9pm to 3am. All featured artists will interpret the issue of climate change and rising sea levels' effects on the city of Miami through their selected mediums of expression, so you'll get to experience this story through music, paintings, architecture, and more. This is the swankiest thing to do this weekend and it's free. SLS South Beach, 1701 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL.

MIAMI BEACH– Get your hip-hop fix at Thompson Miami Beach with the Peachfuzz party. DJs DZA & Craze will be spinning 90s hip-hop and R&B favorites all night long. Throwback starts at 11pm and ends at 4am. There's no cover charge, but if you want to RSVP, send your reservations here. The entrance will be on the side of 41st street and valet will be available for $10. Thompson Miami Beach, 4041 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, FL.

MIAMI BEACH– Let your creative juices flow at Sketching in the Galleries this Friday night. The Wolfsonian-FIU will be providing drawing materials, gallery stools, and professional instruction to participants of all ages and skill levels. Sketching begins at 7pm and it's free and open to the public. Arrive early because space is limited. Wolfsonian-FIU, 1001 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, FL.

Saturday, January 30th

LITTLE HAVANA– Skip the bar this Saturday and head to Marlins Park instead for 4th annual Miami Beer Festival starting at 5pm. There will be food trucks, DJs, entertainment, and most importantly, all the beer you can think of. Craft brews, international brews, and our best local brews will be yours for the choosing. Tickets are $40, but if you want the VIP treatment, pay $10 more for an extra hour of specialty beers during the first hour. Tickets will be $10 more at the door, and take extra cash because food is sold separately. Marlins Park, 501 Marlins Way, Miami, FL.

WYNWOOD– Take it back to the 20s this Saturday night with SwingLab from 7pm to 11pm. The first hour will feature an Intro to Swing Dance lesson for all you beginners. After that, put your jitterbug skills to the test while you hear current and vintage hits. Tickets are $15 here. Metered parking will also be available along NW 26th St. and NW 5th Ave. LAB Miami, 400 NW 26th St., Miami, FL.
