They're hosting a Concrete Calvary Run that goes around Wynwood, hitting the neighborhood's hot spots and ending at Concrete Beach Brewery where you can replenish yourself with plenty of cold beer for purchase. Neiman Marcus Senior VP and Fashion Director, Ken Downing, will be presenting us with the upcoming season's trends set against the backdrop of the beautiful Pandanus Lake. Following the fashion show, the 2016 Fairchild Philanthropy Honorees will be recognized for their dedication to supporting the Garden and the community at large. LITTLE HAITI– Ever wonder about the power of crystals (or why your mystic hippie friend is so into these things)? Head over to Inhale Miami for The Crystal Alchemy: A Specialty Class event this week. SOUTH BEACH– Art Deco Weekend has finally arrived and with it a Haute Couture Fashion Show. Enjoy a journey across three decades as you see the fashion, the music, and the culture of the 20s, 30s, and 40s come to live. The Miami Design Preservation League has partnered with different boutiques, including Tatyana, Belinda Designs, and Blue Velvet Vintage, to showcase a selection of exclusive period pieces all modeled by Miss USA and Miss Teen USA delegates. The best part? Following the show, you'll have a chance to purchase some of your favorite designs. Flapper dresses and 1920s-inspired pieces can be yours, and now you'll have an outfit for that Gatsby-themed party. MORNINGSIDE– During Art Basel 2015, a renegade crew of multi-disciplinary artists took over a huge, soon-to-be-demolished home in the heart of Miami's art scene. They marked the spot with their art, but now that spot will be demolished. Join them at the Fancy Na$ty Bonfire as they say goodbye. There will be tours, a chance for you to paint some walls, and a toasty bonfire that's just in time for this cold front. The farewell begins at 7pm and in true renegade style, ends whenever you want. WYNWOOD– Instead of going to an overpacked club or bar this weekend, opt for a silent disco. The Wynwood Yard is hosting a Sound Off Party where you don't have to worry about tight spaces and you can be your own DJ. From 10pm till 2am, enjoy hand crafted cocktails while you choose from three different stations. The blue channel will play pop/top 40 tracks, the red will play EDM and house music, and the green channel will have a mix of hip hop, R&B, and Latin tunes.
