Alexander Wang's NYFW Banger Was Inspired by This Famous Miami Strip Club

Rick Ross named a song after it, Justin Bieber's blown $75,000 in it, and Drake sings about its star employees, which he knows on a name to name. Yes, King of Diamonds is hip hop's darling strip club and now, thanks to Alexander Wang, it's that of the fashion world's too.

On the third night of New York Fashion Week, Alexander Wang transformed Manhattan's Pier 94 into his very own King of Diamonds, reports the New York Times. There were pole dancers (in Alexander Wang of course), Hooter's wings served by Hooter's girls, Wang-imprinted dollar bills (to make it rain), and performances by frequent KOD customer Lil Wayne, Ludacris (who's also been), Asap Ferg, and Tinashe. The guest list included Kylie, Kanye, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, and Nicki Minaj, who's featured dancers at the club in her music videos.

Funnily enough, no dancers from KOD were employed at this 10 year anniversary banger, Jezebel points out. We're not really sure what Wang's connection to King of Diamonds is, or even if he's ever been to this Miami Gardens-based strip club. Either way, he seems to have gotten this gargantuan stripper warehouse right.
