Refinery29 has teamed up with Simon Properties yet again to prove that shopping at the mall is still cool. Well, how could it not be, when you get to sink into a free concert by popular singer/producer Twin Shadow? (Read: this is awesome).
On Saturday from 1 to 6pm, Refinery29's Style Festival is making a stop at Dadeland Mall, and besides the epic concert (and a DJ set by Mia Moretti), you'll get to shop some of our favorite local indie boutiques within the Fashion Wing's "Style Stage," like Tupelo Honey, Ohm Boutique, iShine365, and Style Mafia. The stage is heavy on festival trends, so expect lots of denim, fringe, and 70s inspired duds. Big retailers like Vince Camuto, Banana Republic, Free People, and more will be selling trendy items.
There will also be a "Beauty Stage" with pop-up beauty bars where you can get festival-inspired hair, makeup, and Flash Tattoos, plus a "DIY Stage" where you can make custom band-inspired tour tees, because no festival experience is complete without a cotton takeaway.
The event is free and open to the public.
