Diane Von Furstenberg Has Opened Up Shop for Good at Aventura, No Exhibit This Time

At this new store, the clothes take center stage.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Wrap dress-loving vixens, settle down now. Diane von Furstenberg has opened its permanent outpost at Aventura Mall, which means you can shop this Miami-loving designer's fashions until, well, forever.

Aventura Mall's Journey of a Dress-themed pop-up closed on Wednesday, which is a huge bummer, but this store packs in all the same merchandise, albeit without the wrap dress exhibit and massive selfie walls (oh, how we're going to miss those selfie walls).

"I am thrilled to finally bring the full DVF brand experience to Aventura," says Diane von Furstenberg. "The energy of the Aventura community is a perfect fit for our brand, which is all about print and color."

And boy, are there prints and colors. This new 2,000-square-foot boutique offers the full collection of Diane von Furstenberg ready-to-wear, and a broad selection of accessories like handbags, shoes, belts, scarves, jewelry, and eyewear. Oh, and there's also a dedicated wrap shop, which offers the full range of wrap dresses, gowns and jumpsuits in DVF's most iconic prints.

At this new store the clothing takes center stage, with patterned dresses adorning the walls, not massive sheets of patterned wallpaper. It's more about retail, less about heritage, although when you're a brand built on an iconic fashion piece, heritage resides all around you.
