Wildfox's next full-fledge, standalone store will be opening in Miami!
We know, we know– LETS POP SOME CHAMPAGNE!!! Alright, now calm down as we explain what we know so far. WWD sat down with Wildfox's CEO, Jimmy Sommers, to talk about the company's sales performance for 2015, but instead they got a flood of good news, especially for us South Floridians.
The site reports that Wildfox is expanding rapidly with peach fuzz-hued shop-in-shops in Nordstrom and Bloomingdales (as many as ten by Christmas!), and that a wave of new standalone stores (first Miami, then New York, and possibly Scottsdale, Arizona) will be opening. The company recently launched a pop-up outlet store in California, however its debating opening a permanent one. (Can we petition to bring it to Sawgrass Mills, or Dolphin Mall)?
The store is also expanding its product categories. A fragrance with Elizabeth Arden is definitely on the table, as are dresses and possibly underwear. We're not certain of a definite timeline for any of this, but Sommers warned WWD, "Just watch for next year; it's going to be a big year."
