Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Coffee table starting to look a bit empty? Bookshelf looking a bit barren? Dear lord, let's fix this. Thankfully, Taschen's warehouse sale starts this Thursday, where you'll be able to save 50 to 75 percent on gorgeous, usually pricey hardcover books that, at minimum, are gorgeous to look at. The sale will run through Sunday, June 28th, which gives you ample time to peruse through this Lincoln Road store's magical bookshelves, and be a part of Taschen's selfie contest.

So what books are we talking here? Travel books from the New York Time's 36 Hours series are marked down from $40 to $20. Helmut Newton's sumo naked book, Sumo, is marked down from $150 to $75 (and it comes with a bookstand!). A retrospective on Vivienne Westwood by Terry Jones is marked down from $40 to $20 as well. We could go on for days, but if you want to stock up on coffee table books covering anything– fashion, cars, art, music, pop culture, politics, even nudes!– for a price that won't make you shudder every time you flip over a page, this weekend is your chance.

Before you go, make sure you have your selfie game on point. The brand will be re-running its #TaschenSalefie contest on social media. Get creative and share your book bargain buys in artistic self portraits or creative book compositions on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Each day of the sale, Taschen will select the top entries to share on its Facebook page, and the ten most liked photos will win up to $10,000 worth of Taschen books!
