Is it ever a bad time to don breezy dresses in a city where summer is eternal?

Not at all. We mean, is there anything else to say about an article of clothing that doesn't require the use of pants, other than where can we buy more? Follow our guide below for some of the best stores to stock up on dresses this season, ones that will make you shine so brightly, you'll really put the sun in the word "sundress."

Cheap and Chic (But not like Moschino)

H&M

With locations in Aventura Mall, International Mall, and on Lincoln Road, this soon-to-tout-Balmain brand is smokier than ever. Although the collab won't drop until November 5th, H&M has a crazy amount of fun dresses to choose from, from basic ribbed dresses to sultry silk options.

Forever 21

Not willing to spend more than $20 on a dress for an event? Look no further than Forever 21. There are dresses of all lengths, sizes, colors, and prints. This is a good place to go to if you really want to use your dress as a cover up to the beach, and not feel guilty about throwing it down on the sand.

Maruchi

This hidden gem sits at the heart of Westchester, and considers itself an outlet store. It carries brands like BCBG and Rubber Ducky, and has racks filled to the brim with options. Another good plus? Its social media-savvy owners display the store's best merchandise on Instagram and Facebook and happily help you locate it when you ask them for it at the store.

The Electric Boutique

This Racked award-winning store sits on the far corner of 142nd Ave. and Southwest 8th St., but is worth the drive. From beach coverups to formfitting florals, Electric Boutique is full of your future favorites that are always edgy, always on trend. Check out the store's Instagram to catch a glimpse of its latest merchandise before making the drive. And if you can't make it, The Electric Boutique also ships and accepts orders placed via text. Does it get any better?

ALX Couture

Located near Electric Boutique, ALX Couture not only offers a wide range of dresses (differing fits, sizes and lengths) but also includes a huge variety of shoes and accessories so you could leave with a complete look. There's an online store as well, but ALX Couture's friendly customer service and stylish salespeople really make the shop worth the visit. Check out its options on Instagram.

Worth the Splurge

Anthropologie

With its rep for intoxicating store displays, Anthropologie makes summer styling look effortless, especially if we're talking feminine, laid-back dresses. Visit its shop at Merrick Park, Aventura Mall, or on Lincoln Road if you're looking for looking for a dress that'll make you look and feel like Taylor Swift, without all the Bad Blood.

Urban Outfitters

If wearing sundresses with combat boots is more your thing, Urban Outfitters is a must-visit. Florals, ruffles, fringe, and even gothic chic, Urban won't lead you astray if you're going for a look that's sometimes girly, sometimes gritty, and sometimes both.

BCBG

Whenever looking for a summer dress for a special occasion, everyone knows to head to BCBG and with reason. Formfitting and always fashion forward, BCBG's dresses are a rare breed that will rarely go out of style, and you'll find excellent service at any one of the store's many locations in South Florida, from Lincoln Road to the Falls, and Pembroke Lakes to Aventura (there are two stores within this mall)!

Lilly Pulitzer

The unveiling of this Florida favorite at Merrick Park is not only perfectly timed for the summer season, but also perfect if you'd like to add a florals and prints to your wardrobe. You can't go wrong in a classic shift dress and since the designer shaped the brand to fit the Florida feel, it's always the right time to wear some Lilly.

When Price Is Just a Detail

Wolford

Wolford mainly focuses on undergarments and leotards, but the store also sells tight tube top dresses if your style is more similar to Kim Kardashian's or Kylie Jenner's. Purchase one of its classically tight dresses at Bal Harbour Shops, pair it with your new caged heels, and you'll definitely turn heads as you strut.

Koko & Palenki

With shops at Merrick Park and at Dadeland Mall, Koko & Palenki is the store that will save you when you need to find a summer dress to wear to an outdoor wedding. The saving doesn't come cheap, but Koko and Palenki does have exclusive options that will guarantee a few double takes.

Intermix

This multi-brand fashion retailer houses top designer like Jonathan Simkhai and Cushnie et Ochs. It's one of the few boutiques in Miami (other than the big department stores, like Neiman or sometimes Saks) that houses such big names. Located in South Beach, this store offers designer summer dresses for varying styles - and for those willing to splurge and spend a hefty sum of money.

Calypso St. Barth

Looking for that perfect dress to sip cool drinks by the pool? This upscale boutique opened recently on Lincoln Road and offers a number of beachy dresses perfect for pairing with your trusty gladiator flats and hoop earrings. From maxi to shift dresses, the store won't lead you wrong, but buyers beware: some of the options can get a bit pricey.
