It's nice to think that at one point in time, Jennifer Lopez rubbed elbows with us locals. After a long run on the market her former North Bay Road home has been sold to none other than Phil Collins. The price? A whomping $33 million.
According to Curbed Miami, the Mediterranean revival villa was built in 1929 and still has its original 150-year-old reclaimed hardwood. But the updates are REAL. There's a theater, a wine cellar, a 6,000 gallon koi pond, and 200 feet of water frontage. Oh and can we talk about the master bedroom please? It contains a gym, an office, and a closet that was carved out of three former bedrooms. THREE FORMER BEDROOMS.
J.Lo hasn't lived in this house (which is on the same road as Calvin Klein's massive pad, currently for sale) since 2005, when she sold it to Mark Gainor, who founded private equity firm Lucor Holdings. She bought the house around 2002, back when "Bennifer" was a thing. After that, J.Lo took up residence in a penthouse at the Icon Brickell around 2009, with her then hubby Marc Anthony, reports Variety.
Enjoy that closet for us, Phil.
