Paddle board yoga has been a thing for a while now, but have you ever heard of Paddle board Pilates? According to Miami New Times, there's a new workout called Pilates H2O, which fuses the two together in one 75-minute workout.
The class takes place every Saturday at 9am at Coconut Grove's U.S. Sailing Center and is taught by Melina Cherry of SUPtheworkout and Christa Gurka of Pilates in the Grove. You'll spend 30 minutes paddle boarding, and 45 minutes doing Pilates on Biscayne Bay, and if you can bring your own board, the price is shaved from $55 a class to $30.
Miami New Times claims the class is only going to get harder. Seeing that it launched last week, Pilates and paddle board beginners should probably start right about... this weekend.
