Miami Vice may have had a lot of questionable fashion moments, but you have to admit: it's inspired enough collections positively to redeem itself from the archives of bad 80s fashion. We Are Handsome, the swimwear label revered for its insane graphic prints on sheeny fabrics, has just released it's latest collection, Vice, and it's inspired entirely by Miami after the designers' long visit to our humble, vice-driven town.
Flamingos set on super 80s geometric patterns and scribbles, pineapples on repeat, and gaudy jaguars climbing through palm and banana leaves. There are bikinis, one-pieces, palazzo pants, shift dresses, and rash guards. Prices range from $187 for the flamingo bikini to $315 for wide leg pants. It may not have been shot here (it was actually shot in Thailand at the Aava Resort & Kata Rocks), but between the flashy patterns and sporty silhouettes, We Are Handsome's entire Vice collection does make you nostalgic for a Miami that once was.
