With the University of Miami located just blocks away, Village of Merrick Park is the perfect home for Miami's next preppy newcomer, Vineyard Vines, a whale emblemed brand revered by fraternities and sororities for its preppy, country club aesthetic.
"We are thrilled to be opening a store at the Village of Merrick Park," said Shep Murray,
vineyard vines CEO and co-founder. "Coral Gables is a community that has been supportive of our brand for many years and is a great representation of the Vineyard Vines lifestyle and ‘Every Day Should Feel This Good' way of life."
Matching polos for the entire family? Check. Shift dresses for your next sailing adventure? Check Check. Checkered bow ties that are ready for your next crawfish boil? Honey, pick a color. Launched in 2008, Vineyard Vines has become the brand for the laid-back and leisurely, who most likely have a closet filled with Brooks Brothers or Lilly Pulitzer, which is also set to open at Merrick Park soon.
This is the store's first Miami location and it should be opening at the end of the summer, hopefully before rush starts because this would be an opportune time to stock up on University of Miami bow ties for your entire brotherhood.
