Back in 2011, visiting an H&M store was a novelty, more accessible by plane than by car because the retailer didn't exist in Miami. Now, just four years later, H&M has three locations in Miami– Lincoln Road, Aventura Mall, and Miami International Mall– with two more on their way at Westland Mall in Hialeah and, most recently announced, at Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater.
The Real Deal revealed yesterday that this new Dolphin Mall H&M will be massive, at 33,000-square-feet, and carry men's, women's, and children's clothing plus the plethora of accessories that H&M is known to have. It should be opening this Fall 2015, along with the Westland Mall location. When H&M at Miami International Mall opened there were plenty of giveaways, so we're expecting a big hoopla for these openings.
H&M at Dolphin Mall is interestingly close to its sister location at Miami International Mall, but the Miami Herald reports that this is actually a good thing. "Often we have found that this can increase the foot traffic to both stores," an H&M person revealed to them.
