Get Some Fighting Gloves, Because a UFC Gym Is Opening in North Miami

Barre classes, indoor cycling, Pilates, yoga– North Miami is seriously beefing up its fitness game as of late, and it's about to add its beefiest workout. Miami's first UFC gym is set to open there at La Fontana Shops, The Real Deal reports, a shopping center that's currently under construction.

UFC, is a full-service gym that specializes in mixed martial arts (MMA), boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and group and private classes. It's a brand extension of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which means this is as close as the normal person will get to training like their favorite fighters. Right now, there are UFC Gyms in Fort Lauderdale and Davie, so all of our Broward folks can chime in under our comments section below about what we Miami folks can expect.

So when can we test it out? The Real Deal reports that La Fontana Shops will be opening in October, so this 10,000-square-foot gym should ready to take a few hits around then.
