Apple Has Created an Easter Egg-Colored Mural for Its Future Lincoln Road Store

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Apple store on Lincoln Road is set to open on April 24th, and to get us excited they've tapped in "internationally renowned contemporary artist" Alex Brewer (or Hense, as he's known to the world) to create the most colorful, magical, springtime mural we've ever seen. Curbed Miami also pointed out that this was the day the Apple Watch was supposed to drop, however that won't be happening until June. (Maybe they needed a little bit of time to make it fashionably adoptable)?

According to Curbed Miami, the soon to open space was designed by Touzet Studio and "will reflect Lincoln Road's historic automobile showrooms of the 1920s and 30s, one of which, the former Chrysler showroom, their current store is located in." An apple store with a nod to history? Now that's something we'd line up to see.
