Tickets for the Gilt City Warehouse Sale have officially gone on sale today! It's arguably the closest Miami gets to a sample sale of New York proportions, only this one involves cocktails, a live DJ, and a mix of steals from Zac Posen, Helmut Lang, Oscar de la Renta, and Missoni at up to 80 percent off regular prices.
The sale runs from March 20 through March 21, and there are are three separate tickets you could buy. $25 will get you in with the media from 7 to 9pm on Friday, so you get first dibs on everything. $20 will get you in with the late night crowd from 9:30 to 11:30pm, and $10 will get you in with Saturday's crowd to scrape up what's left of all the womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, and home goods at steeply discounted prices.
Gilt has also teamed up with Zyrtec to provide makeup tips and applications to combat "Allergy Face," which includes watery eyes, a red nose, and puffiness. Apparently it's a thing. Early advice includes not bringing a coat (which shouldn't be hard, because this is Miami) and bringing a bag smaller than seven inches, because you'll enter the fast pass lane, and as any seasoned sample sale shopper will tell you, time is of the essence at these things.
