Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Face it: Miami is one flaky city, and Exhale is taking a stand against it. The gym, with locations at the Loews Hotel, the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour, and the Epic Hotel, where our last Racked Fit Club killed it, will begin enforcing a strict cancellation policy on April 1st.

Up until that date, Exhale has had a lenient four-hour cancellation policy for all of its guests. But starting in April, guests and members who cancel in less than four hours will have to shell out a $25 no-show fee, an email states. It's a win for people who show up on American time, and terrible for those who have chronic Miami timing disorder. (Or, quite simply, for those who are stuck in traffic). Either way, Exhale means business, folks, so don't be late.
