Melissa Shoes, a Racked-approved brand, is opening up in Aventura Mall, right next to Bloomingdale's this Wednesday! We're told the store will carry all of Melissa's tutti fruity-smelling, PVC plastic shoes for women and kids, not to mention its notable collabs with Karl Lagerfeld and Jason Wu.
The 35-year-old Brazilian shoe brand currently has pop-up turned permanent shops on Lincoln Road and Miracle Mile. From what we've gathered, this third Melissa outpost will be totally modern, with pops of colored shelving in pink, red, and purple.
Excited? Local blogger Ginger Harris and her 6-year-old partner-in-crime Milly Jane Harris will be hosting the grand opening fête from 5 to 8pm. There's going to be a DJ, treats, a discount, and more so stop for some serious footwear love.
