Mimo Market Brings Cool Brands to Guys and Girls in Wynwood

It's boho chic and surfer meets the city, and nothing inside is over $100.

If you've passed by Wynwood Block during Second Saturdays, you'll have noticed a sign for a place called MiMo Market and probably caught yourself thinking, oh, this is going to be a cute little marketplace. Well, it's not. Instead Mimo Market is a small, oak-trimmed boutique with quality indie brands at affordable prices for girls and guys. It's exactly what Wynwood needed.

Founded by two friends, Lisa Tam and Leilani Sanchez, Mimo market is a rough-luxe version of their favorite New York and Los Angeles boutiques. Inside you'll find brands like Mink Pink and BB Dakota for girls, and brands like Zanerobe and Publish for guys. There are plenty of unique, one of a kind accessories jewelry, socks, and ties made by local designers and brands. Oh, and get this, nothing inside is over $100.

Ok, we did spot a pair of vintage Levi's cutoffs for $115, but we'll let those slide...

Each piece of furniture seems to be repurposed and the details on the wall are super cool, like plants nestled inside salvaged boards and old Goodyear tires stacked above a vintage dresser. That's right, it's totally Wynwood's vibe.

The grand opening is tomorrow from 11am to 8pm, and there will be light bites, drinks and a DJ. Plus, if you spend over $100, you'll take home a free tote.
