If you scrolled through the #LoveYourREALSelfie or #AerieREAL hashtag on Instagram this past Saturday, you'll have noticed a lot of gorgeous smiling faces lounging at the Mondrian South Beach, completely unretouched and ok with it. Aerie, American Eagle's lounge and lingerie brand, commissioned famed photographer Gray Malin to take the "world's biggest selfie" at the Mondrian that day, which brought in a swarm of confident and gorgeous locals, bloggers, and celebs all wanting to make history, in super cute bikinis of course, most of which were from Aerie's new swimwear line.

The Duff's Mae Whitman was there, as was entrepreneur and DJ Hannah Bronfman, and big-time blogger Julie Sariñana from Sincerely Jules. But local bloggers showed up with their own swag, as it seems everyone at the event was touting a very necessary selfie stick. Scroll through the images above to get a gist of what happened, and to get some serious bikini inspiration for your own upcoming spring break.
