Fashion people love Basel, if you haven't already noticed by all the uh-mazing street style we spotted around town throughout the week. Designers, bloggers, style influencers– it feels like the entire industry flew down for the week to indulge in a little art (and a little fun) in Miami. Ever curious we are here at Racked, we did a little cyber snooping to see what our favorite fashion peeps did during their stylish sabbaticals in Miami for Art Basel.
The Webster was the place for style spotting during Basel, as per usual. Owner Laure Heriard Dubreuil welcomed Italo Zuccheli, creative director for Calvin Klein Collection Men's, to launch his pre-spring 2016 capsule collection. Miguel made a cameo appearance.
Speaking of celebs at The Webster, Lionel Ritchie partied all night long at this fashion Shangri-La...
As did Solange, along with eyewear designer Selima Salaun and contributing fashion editor at W Magazine, senior fashion editor at Vogue Japan and creative director of Queen of the Night, Giovanna Battaglia.
Some of your favorite fashion bloggers were in town thanks to Revolve. On Thursday, they headed to Soho Beach House for a brunch with local Miami label Alexis. Miss Universe USA Olivia Culpo; model, DJ, and blogger Gala Gonzalez; Sincerely Jules blogger Julie Sariñana; Song of Style's Aimee Song; and Tuula Vintage blogger Jessica Stein were all there.
But of course, there were the parties. Jeremy Scott threw a toned down version of his annual Basel bash at the Montauk Surf Lodge pop-up at The Hall. Here he is with Mia Moretti.
Valentino launched Miriabilia Road, a massive installation dedicated to the city of Rome. The brand's creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, hosted a soiree in the Design District on Thursday and Adrien Brody made an appearance.
Also in the Design District, Fendi had its grand opening, which saw Solange and Chelsea Leyland DJ. Laure Heriard Dubreuil was there with friend and swimwear designer Lisa Marie Fernandez.
That same night Objets Nomades opened to an exclusive group, which included Olivia Culpo.
The W was a hotspot for fashion people, especially for The Outnet's party. We Wore What's Danielle Bernstein made an appearance, as did a bevy of other bloggers.
Tommy Hilfiger and Dee Ocleppo were at The Delano for Dujour's Art Basel kick-off party.
And everyone's favorite fashion grandma (besides Iris, of course) Baddie Winkle was the star of the show at the Galore X Complex Mag party. Even Kylie Jenner and Hailey Baldwin couldn't resist a polaroid.
Public School founders and DKNY creative directors Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne were at the Miami Beach Edition celebrating DKNY X New Museum.
Of course, there was time to play. Caroline Vreeland, Peace Love Shea blogger Shea Marie, and their whole crew made it to Joe's Stone Crab while repping Sidebar Miami.
Garance Dore took over Who What Wear's Instagram account, which took her from the beach to the Nautilus South Beach to Club Monaco, where she was signing copies of her book, Love, Style Life.
The Glamourai's Kelly Framel was all over the newly opened Faena Hotel.
It girl Hannah Bronfman also made it to the Faena District, this time to Casa Claridge's.
But let's move on to the fairs, shall we? Alice and Olivia's own Stacey Bendet was in her own little wonderland at Design Miami.
Erica Choi, Digital Art Director at Barneys New York, led an exploration trip through the fair as well. Browse her Insta for some artsy shots from the week.
Mara Hoffman made her way over to Untitld Art Fair. She also hosted a pop-up at the Montauk Surf Lodge pop-up.
Some fashion peeps made their way from the beach onto the mainland, like Natalie Off Duty blogger and model Natalie Suarez. Here she is in Wynwood.
The mainland saw even more models though. Rocky Barnes, Jenny Lopez, and Daniela Botero all made it to Style Mafia's Basel bash, as did Style Rac founder Iman Hasan.
Shoe designer Paul Andrew threw a soiree at Capretto South Miami, which saw a formidable amount of fashion bloggers and and models like Shea Marie, Rocky Barnes, and Erica Pelosini.
Finally, Jeremy Scott made the fashion pilgrimage to vintage wonderland C.Madeleine's, which is a fashion celeb hotspot during Basel.
