MIAMI-If you want something a little more insightful this week, head to Rodrigo Gaya's photo exhibition, light | water | reflection. He will be presenting a mixture of naturally occurring magical moments, visually inspired by the Haiku. With his images, he's playing with the idea of impermanence in blending photography with one of the oldest forms of poetry, to create a storyline describing the impermanence of Miami and it's relationship with climate change. FORT LAUDERDALE– Just because it's the holidays doesn't mean you can't get a good workout in. This Sunday take part in a holiday-themed 5K Run/Walk along Las Olas in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Marathons usually provide a free t-shirt, but at this 5K all participants will receive a Santa suit, including a jacket, pants, belt, beard, and hat along with two jingle bells for your running shoes. All levels of runners/walkers are welcome, including children, dogs, and strollers! This 5K will start promptly at 7:30am, and will also be taking place in Miami and Delray.
