H&M's Grand Opening at Dolphin Mall Saw 507 Shoppers and Jaime King

Attention Dolphin Mall shoppers: H&M is officially open!

The doors to H&M's 500th shop burst yesterday at noon, ushering in quite the fast fashion-hungry swarm. Jaime King was there too, just minding her own business and Christmas shopping away.

Just kidding. She may have done some Christmas shopping, but she was actually there in support of H&M's global garment recycling program, where shoppers can receive a 15 percent discount for every bag of unwanted clothing they want.

Out of 507 shoppers who lined up, ten were chosen for meet-and-greets with the Hart of Dixie star, model, and mother of Taylor Swift's godchild, who wasn't expecting such a turnout.

"Ya gotta love Miami," King said to Miami.com. "I figured, ‘Oh, it's 11 in the morning, so this will be a mellow event.' But no! This is great, though."
