Pluto and Prosepina by Jeff Koons
Korey Davis
The shops at Bal Harbour just got a little more posh with the arrival of Jeff Koon's 11-foot tall, stainless steel sculpture. Named "Pluto and Proserpina," the piece of art has traveled the world and is the only contemporary piece to sit next to Michelangelo's "David" in Florence's Palazzo Vecchio. And now, it's sitting in the entrance to one of Miami's favorite shopping centers.
Goyard
Fashion's most mysterious luxury brand has finally revealed itself at Bal Harbour Shops. The store looks something out of the past with its antique logo and gold registers. This brand could only be found in four other cities in the country, so consider yourself lucky that you won't have to traverse the U.S. to get your hand on one of its exclusive trunks.
