Alexis Bittar, jewelry designer extraordinaire, is making a special appearance in Bal Harbour this week. And no, it's not his newly-minted outlet store that's bringing him to the city. (Unfortunately, we still have to wait a little while longer for that). Instead, he's here to talk about his renowned jewelry collection.

If you don't already know, Alexis Bittar is one of the greatest jewelry designers of the 21st Century. That's a bold statement, but it's true. In the past, he's worked with Michael Kors, Jason Wu, and, most notably, Burberry for its first ready-to-wear jewelry collection. If that's not impressive enough, he's the go-to man for celebrities when they want to make a fashion statement. Blake Lively, Cameron Diaz, and even the First Lady all don his signature Lucite bangles, which are more than just bangles.
