Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After packing his mansion, bags and Aventura store to move move west to LA, it seems Donald J. Pliner is back in business, this time with a home goods store in Wynwood. Miami.com reports that the shoe designer is opening Coming Home Gallery, "a gallery of home furnishings, unique objects and art designed and curated by himself and his wife, fellow designer Lisa Pliner."

The site reports that the gallery will be opening on November 2nd in Wynwood on 24th street, and will feature "carefully selected objects and home furnishings collected during or inspired by their two decades of world travels." The space will also be used as an events space to back some of their favorite causes and artists, both locally and worldwide.

Don't worry though, shoe lovers. Pliner's Dadeland store still sells all the shoes you've grown to love.
