The clouds have parted to bring down upon us the glory of Brian Atwood's shoes.... soon, anyways. The designer mentioned to Footwear News that he's pondering the opening of a few stores (he currently has no brick and mortar locations since he closed up his Madison Avenue shop after Jones Group shuttered) and aside from eyeballing New York, LA, and the Middle East, he also has his sights set on a Design District boutique.
If you remember correctly, 60 stores and restaurants are expected to open in the Design District by 2017, which includes Dolce & Gabbana as well as a wave of new contemporary stores like DVF, Rag & Bone, and Marc Jacobs. Jonathan Adler is going to fit right in.
