Shinola Is Opening Its Wynwood Store Very Soon

Yay for American made!

It's almost time, guys! Detroit-based brand Shinola will be opening its first Miami store in November. It's taking over the corner space where Elemental used to be, right next to Illesteva's newly opened store, and if you're familiar with any of Shinola's ten other worldwide locations, you'll know that the store is most acclaimed for its watches, although you can also find bikes, journals, leather goods, and accessories for your pet. All made in America, of course.

"We are excited to call Wynwood our newest home because this area is pulsing with the same artistic, innovative and creative vitality that aligns with our core values," said Shinola Creative Director Daniel Caudill in a statement. "It's a perfect platform to showcase Shinola's like-minded community spirit."

The store will be opening in November, and is working with The Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami) to select a local artist to paint its inaugural mural. It will rotate quarterly, and they're working with other organizations, museums, and artists to spread out the love.
