One day, 101 gay weddings. Now that Florida has legalized gay marriage, the real party ensues, the biggest of all taking place during the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, where celebrity chef Art Smith will foot the bill for the nuptials of 101 gay couples.
The ceremonies will take place on February 21st from 1 to 4 at the James Royal Palm Hotel, and coincides with the Big Gay Ice Cream Social. It promises to be delicious. Miami's best chefs will be catering, and Duff Goldman from Ace of Cakes will be providing the iced tiers. The officiant has yet to be named, but supposedly he's a "huge" celeb. Let the guess list begin.
So how can you be one of the lucky pairs? The first 101 couples to tweet to @ChefArtSmith using #101GayWeddings will be invited to wed, and you can bring two guests with you. So far the tweet feed looks pretty full, so make sure to shoot out your requests STAT.
