The Racked Fit Club cycled their souls away at SoulCycle in Coral Gables last night! Our epic ride was led by Zack Held, who migrated from Manhattan back to his hometown to grace us with his otherworldly cycling instructor flair. We'll admit; although we were super excited blast away our final January calories with Zack last night, we were secretly hoping his mom, local fashion legend Elysze Held, would be there. Our despair quickly faded, however, the moment Zack hopped on the bike and started belting out Taylor Swift tunes, standing on his bike surfboard style, and teaching us how to properly do the worm without slowing our roll (more images after the jump).
Our 45-minute-class felt like a dance party with our best girlfriends. "Woo-hoos!" were thrown with abandon, endorphins were seriously released, and when you needed to take a quick water break there was Zack, thankfully giving us his own renditions of Mariah Carey and Yoncé hits. Afterwards, we refueled with super juices from The Juice Spot, that trendy Brickell juicery that's owned by Lebron James's wife, Savannah Brinson. It was an epic ride, to say the least, and we're so happy to have gotten on the saddle with our readers. Big ups to all who came, the Juice Spot for dropping by, The Patton Group for putting it all together, SoulCycle for hosting us, and to Zack for bing one kickass teacher. Can't wait until the next Racked Fit Club!
