Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa will be no more. The holistic resort and condominium, which boasts one of Miami's most luxurious spas and fitness centers, will revert to its original name, the Carillon Hotel & Spa, and will be jointly managed by the co-founder of The Setai and founder of Aman Resorts and GHM Hotels, who also once managed The Setai. But what does that mean for you, who so loved Canyon Ranch's herbal facials, organic juices, and Aquavana thermal suite?

Good things, according to a letter from Z Capital Partners, who acquired Canyon Ranch. The letter states "we will not only continue to offer all of these amenities, but also will expand them to incorporate new lifestyle elements, services and upgrades for residents and guests." Among these upgrades are a new retail boutique along Collins "to be consistent with the property's status and lifestyle," and a revamped hair salon. What isn't certain is whether the property will keep the current hair team or bring in another upscale salon to take over the space.
