Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Curbed Miami lets us in on what's good in the neighborhood.
1) Edgewater: Concrete fortress built by The Borg or financial titan's new HQ? The new Fairholme Capital headquarters, designed by Arquitectonica for Biscayne Boulevard, will be a little bit of both. With a Richard Serra out front, it will make quite the statement.
2) Wynwood: The winner of an international design competition to create a new public park in Wywood is a greenhouse-like construction, complete with glowing LED latticework built around an existing oak tree on the site. It will be a park, party space, and artistic venue all wrapped in one.
3) Coconut Grove: This eclectic Coconut Grove house, nestled under 100 year old oak trees, has a lime green hall, a red dining room, yellow living room, bedrooms and kitchen in various shades of blue, and a majestic two-story screened in porch. It can be yours for $2.2 million.
