Why are they building a Michael Kors in front of an already opened Michael Kors? Wait, wasn't Lululemon downstairs? What on earth happened to J.Crew?! Relax, feisty shoppers. Aventura Mall is only going through some changes, and it's only a matter of time before your favorite stores, including Lululemon and Express, reopen in expanded new locations. Luckily for you, we know roughly when.
Lacoste was previously located near Macy's on the first floor and will be reopening softly on October 10, right next to Sandro.
Lululemon is relocating next to Sony on the second level at some point in November, roughly around the time their Lincoln Road location should. is completely Miami inspired: flamingo influences will lightly adorn the front and the lighting is inspired by Aventura's golfing culture. The brand's current location on the first floor is still open.
J.Crew will be staying put in the Bloomingdales quarter of the mall, and will remain closed through September 23. It will reopen after that, completely renovated.
Michael Kors is moving right across the walkway into the former Juicy Couture space. Because it's larger, we reckon' it will be carrying his full line of merchandise. The brand's original Aventura Mall store, which sells accessories, is currently open.
Express is staying put on the second level, right next to Banana Republic, and is slated to reopen after remodeling in October.
