Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

1) Aventura: Rumor suddenly erupted that renowned chef Scott Conant would be opening a second Miami restaurant, and it turns out he will. The new spot (an undisclosed concept as of yet) will be located a ways up the road from his first eatery, Scarpetta, at Turnberry Isle Miami in Aventura. Stay tuned and send tips our way if you have them.

2) Brickell: After a pretty short round in the game, Brickell's swanky Lippi Restaurant is shutting its doors. Their team hasn't said why exactly, but Lippi will temporarily close, undergo renovations and reopen as an Italian eatery called Tamarina.

3) South Beach: Ocean Drive might just improve upon its dining options a bit with the addition of an upcoming spot called Jalapeño Mexican Kitchen. We haven't found any totally obscene price points in our first look at their menu and all looks rather decent. Check it out for yourself this way.
