Ferragamo Makes History with a Two-Story Store at Bal Harbour

Salvatore Ferragamo has just made Bal Harbour history. The luxury clothing, shoe and accessories brand has opened the first two-story store within the mall, and this newly expanded flagship has practically doubled in size, from 4,300 square feet to 8,100.

According to Bal Harbour Shops, the design follows the Fifth Avenue Flagship prototype that was reopened in 2012 in New York. It's very modern, futuristic and glamorous, with clean asymmetrical wall paneling finished in gold and ivory, a grand staircase complete with a custom ceiling sculpture that resembles giant river stones and dark wooden floors.

In addition, Bal Harbour Shops reports that inside this Salvatore Ferragamo flagship you'll find "exotic" limited edition pieces, like the Susi pump in amber or plum alligator. There is also a special edition of the fall runway messenger bag available in matching patterns to those mentioned above, and you'll only find this gator within this shiny new flagship.
