Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Welcome back to Editor's Essentials, a Wednesday feature in which editors from around the Racked network discuss their all-time best buys.
Dressing for the office in the summer time as a woman is a feat, an art, a juggling act: Trying to keep decently covered for the work place while still navigating the long, hot days—and possibly a heavily over-air conditioned office—is serious business.
While Racked HQ is understandably pretty lax in terms of dress code, many of us have done time in stuffier offices with hemline rules, shorts bans, or sleeveless guidelines. Here our editors from across the US have compiled some of their favorite trousers, blouses, and dresses for keeping office-cool in the dead of summer. (Need more inspiration? Check out our Working It series).
