Welcome to Dress Code, a feature where we pick a Miami event and ask three of our favorite shops to solve the what-do-I-even-wear-to-that dilemma.

The echelon of red, white and blue is upon us, yanks, and its only appropriate that we deck ourselves out for the 4th of July. Whether you're celebrating the birth of our country by watching a spectacle of sparkles in the sky or you're grilling up some good ol' American burgers with friends and family, three of our favorite shops- Emporium, Monc Boutique and Supply & Advise- have styled their ultimate Independence Day looks for the Georges and Marthas out there, right after the jump.

Where: Emporium
What: Fascination strapless blue ruffle top, $40; Indah Sumbawa blue static print pant, $120; Bohemian Designs (BD by BB) large crystal Buddha tassel, $88; Jioia silver chain with gold peace sign necklace, $35; Ashlie Redmond, "The Lady" crossbody bag in white, $300.
"It's very comfortable for Miami's hot weather, plus the colors are very patriotic," says Crissy Rubin, an employee at Emporium. "I'd wear it to someone's pool party, a friends barbecue, but really it's perfect for any occasion. The tassel necklace is a really big staple we've noticed this summer and this one has a Buddha charm on it. It's a really big statement piece this season."

Where: Monc Boutique
What: Top, $54; Shorts, $65; Necklace, $48.
Why: The pieces we picked are really in style right now, and they're perfect for Miami," says Nayla El-Naffy, Co-Owner of Monc Boutique. "You can wear it anywhere- a barbecue, fireworks- because it's light, breezy and the flowers and sheerness of the shirt make it super feminine."

Where: Supply & Advise
What: Randolph Engineering chrome aviators, $129; Engineered Cambridge shorts, $228; Gitman Vintage Navy poplin button down shirt, $156; Aiden Unlined Dover navy suede shoes, $510; Tanner Goods skinny belt in Havana, $95; Anonymousism socks, $15; Lemon & Line nautical nylon bracelet, $25; Corgi socks, $32; Parabellum bison dress belt, $545; Parabellum identification case in vibrant blue, $175; Benjo's boot and shoe laces, $8; Nantucket Knotworks 2-strand rope bracelet, $8.50; Randolph Engineering X Michael Bastian aviators in red and white, $129.
Why: "Whether you're taking in fireworks at the Biltmore in Coral Gables or hosting a poolside barbecue, this is the perfect look for celebrating America's birthday in style," says Jonathan Eyal, owner of Supply & Advise. "It's red, white and blue, made in the good ol' US of A and perfect for a hot summer."
