1) South Beach: Fabio Viviani's Chicago-original is finally nearing an opening. Siena Tavern is now scheduled to begin service in early September, after two months of intense training, and many dish tastings. We caught up with the chef and spoke all thins Siena-related, why he chose Miami and more.

2) North Miami: New on the brick and mortar scene: Jefe's Original Fish Taco & Burgers. You might know them from their stops around Miami as a food truck, but the eatery's made a permanent home for itself, with expanding menu offerings. More this way.

3) Everywhere: The Eater Young guns class of 2014 has finally been revealed and our very own Camila Ramos from Panther Coffee made the cut! A big congrats to Miami's awesomely "badass" barista.
