Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Kate Spade, you little jet setter you. The brand has been producing little Advent calendars of different countries over the past few months and this June, they're unravelling 17 days in Havana. Ok, so it's not Miami, but Miami's the next best thing to Havana since, well, Havana was a thing. (Have you ever driven down 8th Street)?

Throughout the next month they're pulling out local tips, tropical downloads, recipes for Cuban dishes, spanish lessons, vacation style tips and more. Their Summer 2014 lookbook is even inspired by Havana of the olden days, with bright florals and muted earth tones in elegant, streamlined shapes.

If history proves right, they'll probably whip out some salsa lessons, muster up a mojito recipe and reference Tropicana videos, but what do we know? Our crystal ball is full of wondering. We're a little curious as to how legit these local tips will be, seeing as media censorship is pretty tight in the communist country, but our guess is that they're going to show off the best of the best in the island and block off the bad parts, as any tourist-hungry country would do.

What do you think about this new collection? Any thoughts on what Kate Spade should feature throughout the month? Let's talk about it in the comments below.
