Miami Hair Stylists Reveal Their Favorite Bridal Hairstyles

To wrap up Weddings Week, we're leaving you off with some updo eye candy handpicked by some of Miami's top stylists, from South Beach to South Miami. They've dished on their favorite wedding hairstyle of the season, and one common thread seems to ring through all of their selections: keep it light and simple. Don't OD on the hairspray and gel, but do focus on ruffing up the tresses a bit in your updo, be it an ever popular braid or some 1920s finger waves.

Frank Izquerdo from FrankAndLeo Salon: "I Love the low ponytail with a braid in the front. I think this summer we're going to see a lot of that. We really don't like volume here."

Danny Jelaca from Danny Jelaca Salon: "The braided side upsweep is timeless and incorporating it into more formal styles keeps them current, young and fresh. I love to decorate with hair jewelry. Leonor Greyl Huile Secret de Beauté is a great finishing spray for updos because it keeps hair shiny and gives it a healthy and fresh look. Only use spray to lightly finish at the end. No one likes a hard looking updo. Keep it simple sexy.

Olena Voronina from Peter of London: "One of the most popular styles right now is the old style, like finger waves from the 20s and 30s. I figured out how do do them in the dry way, because the traditional way looks wet. Put a decoration in there and it'll look vintage."

Sheila Llopart from Roberto Giordano Salon: "My favorite bridal look is the side braid with a messy bun. On your wedding day, don't do anything that's not natural to you."
