A World In Coral Gables; The Vagabond Is Baaaack

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

What's going on in the neighborhood? Our friends at Curbed Miami can tell you.

1) Coral Gables: We continue or odyssey of Coral Gables' seven theme villages this week, with the Pioneer/Colonial Village, the French Normandy Village, and the Dutch South African Village.

2) Palm Beach: Here's a cute little Palm Beach condo on the market with a not-so-cute $1.5 million price tag. It's not ocean view or anything, but it's within the confines of the very fancy Brazilian Court Hotel.

3) Upper East Side: The iconic Vagabond Motel may have had more bums living in it than paying customers lately, but that's all over, as the motel's extensive rehab comes to an end. Its space-age new signage was just unveiled.
