SOUTH BEACH— Drop your May issue of Cosmopolitan and listen up. The magazine is hosting their annual Summer Heat Party on Sunday, May 18 at the Mondrian South Beach, and you're totally invited. But you must RSVP today, May 14. Starbucks and Onli, a beverage company that works fairly nicely in cocktails, will be providing the refreshments as you mingle with other fashionable gals in town both in and out of the pool. There will be mini massages, poolside manis and hair streaking applications. The first 300 customers will receive a gift bag full of products, including items from Peace, Love, World.

SOUTH MIAMI— Dadeland Mall's new wing can't stop celebrating, but so long as we're all invited, we're not complaining. The mall is hosting its Taste of the Terrace grand opening celebration, which will include tastings and chef demonstrations from their new restaurants like Aoki Teppanyaki, Aroma Espresso Bar & Cafe, Balans, Bobby's Burger Palace, and Earls Kitchen + Bar. There will also be a fashion show featuring Dadeland stores, live performances, prizes every hour and... champagne! The event will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 1pm.
