One Year Later at The Cypress Room; April's Most Talked About Restaurants

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Do you know where you're eating this weekend? Let the guys over at Eater Miami help you.

1) Design District: For The Cypress Room's one year anniversary, we spoke to Michael Schwartz about the first year at his upscale American contemporary eatery, challenges he faced, success and more. Here's what he had to say.

2) Everywhere: It's that time again: Updating the Eater Heatmap, which means new hotspots on the radar and a little glimpse into which restaurants everyone's buzzing about. New to the map this time around: Bocce Bar, Taperia Raca and 1826 Restaurant & Lounge.

3) South Beach: If you were wondering why everyone was super quiet about Charles St., it's because it probably wasn't doing so well. The short-lived eatery has closed, but in its place Think Hotel Group (same team behind Charles St.) is debuting a restaurant called Orange Blossom. The opening is scheduled for April 10. More details over here.
