Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
FORT LAUDERDALE — It's time for the crafters to come out and play at the Indie Craft Bazaar this Sunday at Revolution Live. On top of the over 65 independent artists, crafters, designers and stylists selling original goods, there will be $3 mimosas, tarot card readings, a DIY booth and plenty of vintage finds. The event has an astronomical $5 entry fee (jokes, guys) and goodie bags for the first 100 guests.
SOUTH BEACH — Miami may not get the raging sample sales that other cities do, but we can relish in swimwear all year round. The Studio at Evolution 305 will be having a sample sale for swimwear on Sunday, February 9. Designer pieces run from $10 up and there's an open bar from 7 to 9. Sounds like a dangerous shopping event, but definitely a worthy challenge.
SOUTH MIAMI — Dadeland Mall has teamed up with Liga Contra El Cancer to host a fashion show this Sunday, February 9 from 9:30 to 11:30am in the new wing. It's going to be a morning shebang with breakfast bites, fun and plenty of Spring fashion ideas. Admission is $50, and proceeds go towards the Lourdes P. Memorial Walk-A-Thon.
